Citizens Alliance Bank Donates to Project IMPACT

The Granite Falls Area Community Foundation (GFACF) is excited to announce that Citizens Alliance Bank has donated $15,000 to Project IMPACT to help with the purchase and installation of a new ADA compliant playground for Rice Park.  This donation, combined with the $180,000 already secured for this project from the Bush Foundation, is a giant step forward toward making Rice Park a regional destination for events and family gatherings.

Project IMPACT is a multi-phase project that seeks to provide accessible outdoor play areas for children of all ages and abilities as well as to develop a group/event friendly venue, with future additions of permanent restrooms and a band shell/event stage, in Rice Park just a short walk from our downtown businesses across the Minnesota River via the historic walking bridge.

If you are interested in donating to Project IMPACT, there are multiple ways to do so.  You can donate online, contact one of the GFACF board members directly, or mail a contribution to the Granite Falls Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 143, Granite Falls, MN 56241. Make checks payable to GFACF Bush Project Fund.
