The summer of 2023 saw the completion of the new playground in Rice Park.  The project was kick started by the Bush Foundation with seed money for a project that would benefit the Granite Falls area.  With that start area residents, businesses and the city of Granite Falls all stepped up to donate the remaining money needed to make this dream a reality.
